1. Try to keep in mind why you started the project in the first place. One reason that comes to mind for me was for the challenge of it. What i mean is,here you are taking a forgotten, abused vehicle and will build it back better than the day it rolled off the assembly line.


2. When things start going south, and everything you do seems to be going bad, Take some time off. Take a couple of weeks off , what ever problems you may have had in the shop, now is the perfect time to take out a pen and paper and write down a new strategy plan. Also this time off will give you a opportunity to see that local car show you had been missing.


3. Once in a while get your son or daughter to help you out. This will be a good time to spend with them. Also you never know, the next weekend they may be asking you for the keys to the shop.


4. Try to remember its something that doesn't have to be done. I mean your doing this for relaxation. Don't make a second job out of it.


5. Your restoring a piece of history. That old classic you've been working on will continue to live on, thanks to you. Just as its been said about real estate, make sure to buy some, because their not making none anymore. This can also be said about that classic your soon to have on the road again.
